This LGBTQ NFT Artwork is about Disney vs. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, as Disney announced on April 10, 2023, that it would host the first LGBTQ event at a California theme park, which may raise the temperature of the battle with DeSantis, who banned elementary schools from receiving information about sexuality and gender identity.
The big animation company tweeted: “The first-ever Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite is coming to @Disneyland during Pride Month in June! This separately ticketed event celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community & allies will have themed entertainment, Disney characters, specialty menu items & more. ”
But that approach could cost Disney so much that it could lose its special tax status in Florida, along with DeSantis possibly building a state prison near Disney World.
