This LGBTQ NFT artwork is about a community supporter who excitedly waved the rainbow flag during Turkish Pride parade 2023 in Istanbul, Turkey’s most popular city.
While this parade was organized by the people, the government has strict rules against any gathering of pride and has tried to stop this ceremony for years.
The community first tried to gather in Taksim Square, but they were blocked by the police, then they went to Nisantasi neighborhood and managed to hold a pride parade there.
In this regard, more than 90 people were arrested by Istanbul police.
