The First Wedding of a Japanese LGBTQ Couple at the Oldest Kabuki Theater- LGBTQ NFT artwork

This LGBTQ NFT artwork is about the first wedding of a Japanese LGBTQ couple that took place on July 1, 2023, at the Minamiza Theater, the oldest Kabuki theater in Japan, founded in Kyoto in the early 17th century.
Kazuko and Miho wanted to get married in Minamiza. However, since the theater cannot be rented out as a stage for private weddings, it was planned as a side event of the “Minamiza Rainbow Festival”.
It’s the first same-sex wedding at the historic theater complex, with many participants waving rainbow flags, and the lesbian couple hopes the LGBTQ community will be taken for granted across Japan and around the world.
